Welcome to Hardstep Ministries! We are a non-profit organization going into the communities to introduce our Savior, Jesus Christ, through outreaches that include music, worship, skits, and other evangelical tools- unlike a formal church setting so unfamiliar to this generation. WHY HARDSTEP
Anyone of us today can look around and see that the world at this time morally is not getting better. Everyday as we walk out the door our eyes see the pollution that the enemy has piped into this world not only taking effect but being standardized all over the world. One of the largest groups that fall prey to his attacks is the youth of this generation. Just walk onto any college, high school, middle school and even elementary school campus and find shocking evidence. It is blatant and I see it every day
This didn’t used to bother me when I was promoting raves, concerts and club events to this target group of 13-25 year olds. I lived in their world of drugs, alcohol, sex addictions, violence, and gang-banging. This was my world to the point that my life completely deteriorated. I became an alcoholic and my health was deteriorating. I lost everything-family, jobs, and my drivers’ license.
It was not until I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ that all the bondage that held me in chains finally fell away. He restored every part of me—my health, family, and job. This only happened when I had a genuine conversion. I am no longer who I was. Jesus changed it all!!!!!!!!
Because of my dramatic conversion and resurrection to Life Christ has birthed in me His heart for the lost, especially the youth. I know what a critical age it is. I know how impressionable they are because I’ve been there. I feel strongly that the Lord has called me to lead them toward a legacy of hope.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and
not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)
HardStep Ministries is prayerfully casting the net to reach large capacity audiences at “Conversion” Events. "Where there is no vision, the people perish." (Proverbs 29:18) Through musicians of notoriety such as rap artists and other youth focused bands we want the presence of God to permeate the hearts of young people with the Good News. Skits and dramatic presentations illustrating God’s love as well as a time of ministry to individuals where Bibles and information will be provided to help people new to the Lord begin their Conversion experience. We will also be working with other community outreach programs to offer follow-up such as mentoring, counseling, and rehabilitations.
The goal is to introduce youth to The Savior, Jesus Christ through music and worship. Unlike a formal church setting so unfamiliar to this age and cultural group this non-threatening atmosphere bathed in prayer will allow the Holy Spirit free reign to work on the hearts of youth in desperate need of forever change.
Eventually, the goal is to provide events quarterly, reaching out to the lost-gangs, cutters, alcoholics, drug users, the orphan, the teen parent, those contemplating suicide or taking a wrong path, even to reach those youth that appear to have it all together, like the ones sitting in youth groups, the athletes, the honor students, but are being led astray by the pressures of the world, tempted by what the devil tries to offer them.
It is my deepest desire to serve the Lord where He has commissioned me. “Jesus said to them; ‘My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.’ "(John 4:34) My hope is that the Lord impresses upon your soul to assist in some way with this practical ministry to lost youth in your area.
"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one
according to his work." (Revelation 22:12)
Please stand with us as we seek to present the Gospel to those in desperate need.

Special Note to the Body of Christ
I work on a high school campus and recently the Lord has opened my eyes to many things. I notice that the devil is working overtime with these kids, advertising to these kids a life of false hopes and desires.
I look out and notice the few good kids because the bad kids are the norm. We have kids as young as freshmen with tattoos all over their bodies, holes all over their faces, and with different body modifications. Girls dress provocatively, leaving nothing to the imagination. Others, walking are around pregnant; it has gotten so bad, that the school now offers daycare for these young parents. We have kids that speak words of perversion, pain, hopelessness, and blasphemes. We have heterosexual and homosexuals displaying affection freely. Gangs are fighting, stabbing, and shooting at each other. Campus lock-downs. Suicide attempts. And even murder. Kids not only cover their arms to hide the scars from cutting themselves but they cover themselves w/ the persona that hides the scars of their hearts. High school kids have gotten so bad and their minds so desensitized and warped, to the point of watching a girl get ganged raped and over 50 kids not stopping it. I used to think to myself… “ I wish they would hurry up and expel these kids, incarcerate them and throw away the key.” God has reminded me that he loves everyone and has given me a compassion for these kids. Now I think, “How can I just stand here and just do my job?” I think to myself, where are the local churches, where is the church Christ has commanded us to be. We are more worried about the people within the four walls, worried about making a mega church, worried about doing our Christianly duty-like giving away canned goods, backpacks, doing yard work, painting fences, to make us feel good about ourselves. What happened to spreading the Gospel, like Jesus commanded? We are filling ourselves w/ God’s word, basking in God’s presence, experiencing provision and miracles but all just for ourselves, while people are dying in their transgressions. The living waters that fill us up have gone stagnant and stale. Jesus said he came to seek and save the lost.
We need to start giving out all that the Lord has given us. We need to stop concentrating on only edifying the church. Jesus went to the prostitute, tax collector, and demon possessed. Who are we reaching? Yes, some, but we are not focused on the masses. We are reaching 1 out of 100 and the devil is reaching the other 99. These kids are putting their hope in a girlfriend/boyfriend, a rap star, an athlete, a gangster, and even a president. Even the good kids are pouring there all into sports, education, career, and money, trying to fill a void that only Jesus Christ can fill. After these empty attempts to happiness, most find themselves pregnant, suicidal, incarcerated, depressed, abusing drugs/alcohol, or even dead.
Enough is enough. Lets stand for these kids and reach out. The harvest is ripe but the laborers are few. Lets become the church that Jesus called us to be.
Our 18th event will be on AUGUST 13th, 2011 featuring Seventh Day Slumber, possibly Shawn Mc donald, with speakers from the WHOSOEVERS!!! It will be at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center. Our goal is to raise $10,000; any amount big or small will help to reach this goal. We need to meet half that goal B4 MAY 1ST and the remainder amount by AUGUST 6th. Any additional monies will be used toward future events. All donations will be issued a receipt for tax purposes.
